Bottled from a single cask of whisky from Glen Garioch Distillery, located near Aberdeen on the East Coast route regularly travelled by the original P2 locomotives, this is a unique release that celebrates both Scotland's railway heritage and its world-famous whisky-making tradition.
In tribute to locomotive No. 2007, only 250 bottles will be produced, with every bottle individually numbered. This highly desirable collector's piece is sure to appeal to whisky connoisseurs and railway enthusiasts alike, and will make a striking addition to any top shelf.
The bespoke label design celebrates the P2 story, featuring key facts about No. 2007 Prince of Wales together with a stylish Art Deco illustration of the locomotive. Foil detailing on both the front label and tamper seal creates a premium finish befitting this special release.
The whisky itself is a 14-year-old Highland single malt, matured in an Oloroso sherry cask. Warm amber in colour, it offers creamy notes of cocoa, molasses and syrup soaked raisins, with a hint of ginger and clove, complemented by velvet aromas of marzipan, spiced plum and cherry on the nose.

Full Tasting Notes:
Nose:
A blast of dark, stewed fruits—specifically plums, raisins, and dark cherry. This is quickly balanced by Middle Eastern spices like nutmeg and ginger, interwoven with caramelized brown sugar, marzipan, and an old leather/cigar wrapper depth.
Palate:
Highly viscous and creamy. Rich cocoa, molasses, and syrup-soaked raisins hit the tongue first, closely followed by sharp ginger, clove, and a slightly dry, nutty Oloroso profile. The inherent robust character of the spirit cuts through, providing an earthy, bready foundation beneath the heavy sherry.
Finish:
Medium to long, deeply warming, and spicy. Lingering notes of roasted nuts, roasted wood, dark chocolate, and a faint hint of tobacco dominate the tail end.
